The Mount Holyoke Scarf
- Description
- details
The special scarf honors the artist's alma mater, Mount Holyoke College, and the 2026 European Alumnae Symposium in Scotland, where she is a featured speaker. This limited-edition silk scarf began as an original painting by Claudia Palmira, inspired by the lyrics of the College song.
The artwork was painted while listening to the song sung by the Mount Holyoke choir, allowing its words, rhythm and memories of the College to move into abstraction.
Created in four colorways, each scarf transforms the original painting into wearable art. The green colorway is a one-off design, with the name Mount Holyoke painted and layered, evoking the rolling landscape of South Hadley, Massachusetts.
Part artwork, part keepsake, the scarf is a piece of Mount Holyoke to wear, a celebration of the artist's alma mater, its landscape, and the connections that endured.
Dimensions 66 x 66 cm / 26 x 26 in.
Designed and made in Italy of 100% luxury silk. All designs are original works by Claudia Palmira ©.
Printed with reactive inks, which guarantee that the colors will retain their vibrancy, each scarf is finished with a machine rolled baby hem for extra durability.
The silk scarf comes wrapped in our signature pink packaging and includes an authenticity card signed by the artist.
