Astrology is an archetypal language, and the ancient symbols of each sign are the inspiration of this colorful collection of oversized square silk "paintings". The artist depicted each astrological symbol by hand in ink on cotton paper. Her calligraphic renderings in ink were then painted with evocative hues and transposed to silk.
