Claudia Palmira, originally from New York, moved to Rome knowing very few people. The name Clù is unique to Claudia stemming from a specific moment in her life that made her realize the growth of her relationships in a new place. A friend had greeted her one day, “Ciao, Clù!”, and it was in this instant that Claudia realized the friendships she was forming in this new country. Since then she has been called “Clà”, but that original nickname will forever have a special meaning to her and the start of a new journey. This is why she picked the name Clù for her Art as Objects line.

Clù’s exquisite silk scarves were created to inspire an expression of elegance, sparkle, and edge. Each scarf has its own unique look that is meant to seep into the daily lives of those who wear them. You can bring this sense of elation through these beautiful scarves to your day to day. They began simply with a sketch which quickly turned to life. Each design has been carefully crafted to bring elegance to your life. Each collection created by Claudia has its own personal element that is attached to it. The Opera Line, Collection 01, and Ethereal are the three collections that one can choose from. They all have their own unique background behind them. 

The Opera Line is one close to Claudia. Opera is a genre that she has listened to throughout her life. The deep emotion conveyed in opera with stories of love and tragedy has been something Claudia has known since childhood. It is something that she holds close to her. Creating this collection was important to her in this way. The connection of her passion for artistry and The Opera, were able to come together. Wearing these pieces is an art form that is immersive and all consuming just as the Opera is to listen to. It is hard to ignore and nonetheless hard to forget. This is the feeling that comes with putting on a silk scarf. Collection01 is a series of beautifully crafted pieces. It expresses colors of fascination with deep meanings and stubble motifs.
