Nice to meet you through my line CLÙ.

I am an artist and designer creating innovative beauty through harmonizing elements in imagery. These are inspired by the desire to express an outlook of sparkle, elegance and edge.

My artwork is an expression of elation, and the objects I have created are a way to bring this feeling into all areas of our daily experiences.

My art and design studio is based in Rome with locations in Greenwich, CT and Palm Beach, FL.

Created from the idea that art can go beyond the gallery and straight into your wardrobe and home, CLÙ is a line of fine art products crafted to bring elegance and innovation to your daily life. Uniquely designed by Claudia Palmira, an American artist based in Rome, CLÙ utilizes the same artistic techniques that have made Claudia Palmira’s work globally recognizable for its sparkle.  

Each scarf begins with a motif, an idea- from Baroque embellishments to unique cities of the world- and unfolds into a story like the silk itself. Designed by hand in her Studio in Rome  and crafted on high-quality materials with attention to detail, CLÙ is where high art meets timeless design. 

Now, her iconic artistic style seamlessly can fit into your home and wardrobe with CLÙ, a line of functional art objects. Known for her compelling color combinations and elevated artistic references, Claudia Palmira’s designs bring fine artistry to scarves, trays, totems, and more. 

About the Name

When I first moved to Rome from New York, I knew only a few people. Replicating the kinds of familiar camaraderie I had in New York didn’t happen immediately.

So, one day when my friend greeted me, “Ciao, Clù!” I realized I had finally formed friendship where I could be called by a nickname. Since then, I’ve also been called “Clà”. But the original nickname will always be my favorite, and why I chose it for my line of Art as Objects.

I also love that the name contains part of my son’s name, Ludovico.

Each work listed has been designed in my Studio in Rome, Italy.

Most works begin with a sketch that become to take life when considering the medium- what works best for a the silky transparency of a scarf? What words are most suited to trays? After finalizing the art & design, the piece is specifically created for youand sourced from our ethical producers.

The works here are singularly ordered and returned to Rome for finishing touches. These art objects are not mass produced, but rather, are bespoke works created in limited numbers.

I personally hold, sign, and inspect each piece in my Studio, numbering it for authenticity, before sending it to your provided address.

In this way, I can assure that artistic integrity of each piece which holds my signature remains the highest quality. In addition to the art object, your package will also receive a card from the Studio, which again solidifies the authenticity of your new art piece.
